This beautiful Kapoor babe made her debut in bollywood with JP Dutta’s Refugee and portrayed the character of an innocent refugee village girl “Naaz” from Bangladesh but right after her first film, she just came out of that conventional girl image and grabbed a bold, sexy, stylish look & attitude and established herself as style diva of bollywood.

Kareena Kapoor aka Bebo was born in Mumbai, in one of the most respectable families of Indian film industry: “The famous Kapoor Khandan” on September 21, 1980 to veteran actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita. When she was very young, her elder sister Karisma Kapoor joined film industry with the support of her mother Babita but against her father consent.
It was her Mom’s dream that she & Karishma join acting as a career. At the starting, Kareena was little confused in choosing acting as career. She did schooling in Mumbai and Dehradoon, attended 2 years of graduation in commerce from Mithibai college then switched her plans and pursued advanced course in computers from Harvard University, US and later studied Law from Government Law College, Mumbai. But after completion of studies, she again thought back on her initial plan to become actress like her mom and sister Karishma and finally made her debut in 1991 via Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

This film did good business at box-office and Kareena’s performance was appreciated by all. She also earned Filmfare best female debut award. Next, she was stared in “Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai” opposite Tushar Kapoor. Film was a hit and was one the highest earners of that year. Then she gave number of hit films including Subhash Ghai’s “Yaaden”, Abbas Mastan’s Ajanabi, Karan Johar’s family drama ” Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam” , Priyadarshan’s romantic comedy “Hulchal” & “Bewafa”. She also worked in off beat films like “Chameli” , “Dev” and Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Omkara”. In Chameli, her performance was well received by critics and filmi pandits. nevertheless, she also received Filmfare Special Performance award for Chameli and won Filmfare critics award for best actress twice for Dev and Omkara.

In 2004, she admitted in public that budding actor Shahid Kapoor is her Boy friend and their relationship continued for 3 long years but at last created some riffs between them and finally duo broke up in 2007. Kareena eventually fall in love with 10 years older and already married senior actor Saif Ali Khan on the sets of Omkara. After some initial resistance both admitted their relationship in media. Since then, couple is always seen together in public, remains a common hot topic of page 3 and tabloids keep speculating their relationship. Both are busy in their career and have decided to get married in 2012.
