Arbaaz Khan, the name to thank for making Dabangg, reveals that Kareena Kapoor has shown her strong desire to do an item song for the sequel titled ‘Dabangg 2’.

Dabangg 2 is also remarkable as with it, Arbaaz will be jumping into direction also.
Dabangg was superhit at box office and its item song ‘Munni Badnaam’ was a chartbuster. Malaika Arora Khan was too good in the song.
Arbaaz talking to a tabloid says, “We do have a song in Dabangg 2 but it is too premature to talk about it. We would like to call it a popular song rather than an item song. Once we have recorded the song then we can take a decision accordingly about it.”
He has talked to Bebo about the item song and reveals, “I am in conversation with Kareena about the song. She too is keen on doing it. We would be happy if she would do the song.”
He adds, “Principally we have agreed but nothing is on paper. We need to work out things like availability and all.”
Dabangg 2 has already gone on floors with Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the main leads. The shooting is underway and audience can expect its release by the end of this year.
“We have completed one schedule and will begin another tomorrow. We expect to release it by the end of the year,” Arbaaz signs off.
