Kareena Kapoor Plays Queen Arundhati 2
These days though she is busy with Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ where she will display the ugly side of the glamour world. But soon she will be seen is the avatar of a queen. Yes it some kind of good news for her followers that she will be the lead queen Arundhati in the Hindi remake of 2009 Telugu blockbuster film ‘Arundhati’.

The original movie was a super-hit movie claiming to be the one of its kind, having a woman oriented theme at the backdrop of ancient times spiced up with breathtaking graphics and explicit use of latest technology. Thanks to this original version, that made Anushka Shetty a much hyped and a well known Telugu film industry’s actress.
Grapevine suggests that many popular actress of tinsel town like Katrina Kaif and Rani Mukherjee were in the race to bag the role of queen Arundhati who kills a demon played by Sonu Sood. But the role went straight into Kareena’s kitty.
Like the Telugu edition, Sonu Sood will play the demon in the Hindi remake as well. Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film Arundhati. The Hindi remake is also expected to as grand as the original one.
A thrilled Kareena says, “I am excited to do this that had importance for the female character.”
The film is an action thriller punctuated with sequences of blood and gore. Ansuhka Shetty portrayed the character so well that it helped her bag the prestigious Filmfare Best Actress Award of the year in addition to significant acclaim.
Now we eagerly wait for the Hindi remake of the film to see Kareena play the vital queen. We are sure you guys might have started drawing comparison between Anushka and Kareena already!

Kareena you are a terrific performer, but the role in the movies should also suit to your personality. This arundhati I think suits well for Sushmita sen, than to you.
Replacing Kareena with Sushmita may be harder to be believe, but if done, would mark a history in the success of Hindi Arundhathi.
Madhur’s Heroine is kind of movie for Kareena only, her looks n acting will justify his film. But here Arundhathi hindi remake is a kind of movie for Sushmita. Don’t act in her movie Kareena. Wait, there are lots of good movies on your way.
