Kareena Kapoor’s Profanity in Ra.One ³¹

The Kapoor lass has to do it again and again. She did it in her previous films ‘Chameli’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Golmaal 3’. And now she is doing it again Ra. One. You guys must be guessing what this girl is doing and what are we talking about. Actually we are talking about Kareena Kapoor’s abusive language.

In her next film Ra.One she is supposed to deliver abusive language and foul words in a funny and amusing way. The credit of making Kareena Kapoor speak such foul language goes to none other than the actor –producer of the film Ra.One, Shah Rukh Khan. Yes, he came up with this idea.

Kareena informs that he was keen that it should be a women centric affair. “Shah Rukh wanted to feature a female character doing a thesis on gaalis. He wanted her to research why all the abuses are about mothers or sisters and not male-centric,” explains Kareena Kapoor.

Earlier also Kareena has made full use abusive language in her films. This series of abusive language roles started with ‘Chameli’ and went on with her past films. No doubt Kareena did the whole job excellently and she won many hearts with this attitude.

Even in Golmaal 3 she has used a full slang. This time in Ra.One she is a housewife then why abusive language? But Bebo tries to defend herself and says, “RA.One has me in an irritable housewife’s role. My character, Sonia, is always on her toes. In the film, she is basically researching on gaalis and writing a book on how every bad word starts with Maa Ki… and Behen Ki… and not the guys. Why can’t we have male-centric gaalis? So, she mouths the abuses.”

The audience loves this avatar of Kareena and even Bebo is cool with this. She has no issues mouthing such foul words for any role. “I am very comfortable. It’s just a character, and I am not really abusing,” she says with a smile, adding, “It’s more about similar sounds (with gaalis) than real abuses. It’s surely scary when you hear it, but when you see it, it’s a lot of fun.”

It would be for the first time Kareena would be playing a mother on screen. Her character’s name in the film is Sonia Subramaniam.
